Along with my wife Lynda, we founded the Thunder Floor Cloggers about 13 years ago. Four of our five children understand clogging and six of our thirteen grandchildren understand the dance. In our classes are six year old children along side their thirty five year old mothers or fathers and also their sixty five year old grandmothers and grandfathers. We teach in four locations during the school year in west central Michigan. We are affecting family lives in a positive way, teaching them something of their heritage, while dancing to wholesome music.

Lynda and I believe that when an activity is provided which families can use to learn and play together, a much more solid, law abiding and respectful community we will see around us.

The Thunder Floor Cloggers are in the process of building a portable stage. We have been trying to get this completed for about four years now besides paying for all the other expenses that a group needs. This stage will not only provide the dancers with the opportunity to be seen better and stimulate a sense of the right kind of pride in showing what they have learned in class, but also will lend a good atmosphere to a municipality’s festival. We want you to have the pleasure of helping us accomplish this for our selves and the small communities around us.
