Introducing The Flatfooter, a shoe designed by a flatfooter/clogger for flatfooters. When Bob the clogger starting clogging 16 years ago he found clogging shoes worn to dance in were quite uncomfortable. He thought that a dancer should be able to buy a comfortable shoe to dance in and the shoe still should be affordable. With excellent support, The Flatfooter shoes fit like a fine pair of gloves. No slop, these are American sizes. The Flatfooter is made of full grain leather uppers and are quarter lined with soft pearl pigskin. The Flatfooter shoes are constructed with Micro Cellular foam in the sock lining for shock absorption and to help aid in preventing foot injury. Plus the solid leather heel, bottom surfaced dressed with PVC for the right drag slide in shuffle clog and flatfoot, takes out all the shock in the dancers feet.

Lined for comfort, built for sound, and sporting a non-inhibiting strap, the dancer can easily incorporate flatfoot technique amongst buck and shuffle steps. Shuffle-the constant moving of the opposite foot that is on the floor.

More stable than the common clogging shoe. The Flatfooter, with its specially designed solid leather bubble heel( to make heel clicks) dressed with PVC, has the low resonant sound you want your audience to hear, especially on wood. The three surfaces each make a distinctly different sound from each other. The black Flatfooter makes a wonderful downbeat sound of the heel. Contrary to the metal tap, some dancers say the Flatfooter model that has no metal on the floor makes a Thuck-a-dud sound. Other dancers says it makes a Clop-pe-ty sound.The black Flatfooter comes with a toepeice and heel that is ready to be costumized to the individuals dance if needed.

ALSO AVAILABLE ARE THE FLATFOOTER IN “ FLASH WHITE” for show without the toepeice and special heel surface. Steel taps can then be installed and other clogging can be done. The Flash white model still has the quality lining, leather heel and sole for comfort.

Special heels and toepeice, or buck taps, can be built in any combination on the black or flash white Flatfooters, These shoes can also be bought in red, green, tan etc. A color other than white or black is a special order.
